Since the beginning of 2008 Peter Gold has been working more and more on social media to see how it can be applied in Talent Management. The use of social networks as an example to aid employee engagement is going to be very big over the next year or so but so are internal blogs. He says “We’ll also start to see more social media concepts on career sites such as user feedback, reviews etc and we are again looking at how this can be incorporated in a logical fashion. Although ATS selection and implementation has become a bit of a commodity we continue to work for major organisations such as Mothercare, Superdrug, New Look, Sodexho, Halfords, Boots, Jessops etc across a number of talent and e-recruitment activities. To support any social media focus our expertise in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and SMO (Social Media Optimisation) will play a key part in making sure there are clear business benefits. Overall our primary focus is to help employers utilise social media and web 2.0 to support the Talent Management strategy.”
