Michael Hennessy is the Founder and CEO of SmashFly Technologies, a pioneer in on-demand recruitment marketing platforms. Michael is a born entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in large scale systems design and operation, on-demand business application product development, high volume transaction processing and engineering management. Prior to SmashFly, Michael was the founding Architect and Director of Engineering for BrassRing which was the first company to deliver an enterprise scale on-demand business software application to serve over 50 fortune 500 clients on a single code base. During his employment with BrassRing, he served as chief architect and technologist, leading the development efforts for their on-demand Talent Acquisition System. These products are still being used today by over 180 companies including Fortune 100 companies such as GE, AOL Time Warner, Exxon Mobil and Philip Morris in over 50+ countries. Prior to BrassRing, Michael was co-founder and CEO of Millennium Productions, an Internet ISP based out of Cambridge, MA where he led the technology, sales, and client services groups. He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
