Christopher DeFoe brings 15 years of HR systems experience to his role as CEO and one of the principals of DeFoe Associates. His strong background in systems evaluation, implementation, conversion, and change management has been employed at major organizations (Fortune 500, health care, public sector) across the globe. He has worked with most of the major Talent Management Technology vendors and has a thorough understanding of the technologies available today as well as the best practices for leveraging them to the fullest. Mr. DeFoe is an extremely experienced and capable project manager focusing on strategic Human Resources technology, including talent management (recruitment, performance and learning management) and HRIS systems. As a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), he understands both the business intricacies and the appropriate role of supporting technology. Previously he was a Director with Answerthink (now known as The Hackett Group) managing their Hiring Management Systems practice, and prior to that he managed the Recruitment Automation practice for consulting groups for Cedar (previously the Hunter Group). Prior to consulting, Mr. DeFoe’s practitioner experience includes managing Prudential’s centralized recruiting system and automating all recruiting within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
