Amanda has made the transition from Researcher to Recruiter to Sourcer. She shares her passion on Sourcing as a career path along with the tools and techniques she uses at Microsoft in her current role.
To quote Amanda: “I am so excited to be a Prospecting Consultant for Microsoft’s Global Foundation Services team!
My focus is primarily on prospecting/sourcing/screening and telling the GFS story to passive candidates in the program management, software development and system engineering fields. I am very passionate about my work, especially when it comes to building valuable relationships with my candidates and I am committed to providing a positive candidate experience.
The Global Foundation Services team is delivering core elements of Microsoft’s global online services. The infrastructure for these, over 200, online services comprises of hundreds of thousands of servers spread globally and applications that reach hundreds of millions of users every day! Our customer-base is growing rapidly, our infrastructure investments are multiplying and the size of our global infrastructure is increasing by the day. So is the scale of our challenges. That is why, we have a constant need for program managers, developers and system engineers.”
